NotiLog Not Saving on Oppo, OnePlus or Vivo — The Fix

Oppo, OnePlus and Vivo stop background apps from running, so NotiLog stops saving notifications. The fix is to allow Auto-start, set battery usage to No restrictions, allow background activity, and lock the app in recent apps. It takes about a minute and the menu names below cover ColorOS, OxygenOS and FuntouchOS.

Oppo / OnePlus (ColorOS, OxygenOS)

1. Allow Auto-start

  1. Settings → Apps → App management → NotiLog.
  2. Turn Auto-start ON.
  3. If your build shows "Allow background activity", turn that on too.

2. Remove battery restrictions

  1. Settings → Battery → App battery management.
  2. Select NotiLog and choose No restrictions (also labelled "Allow background activity").

3. Lock it in recents

Open recent apps, then drag the NotiLog card down or tap the lock icon so it survives Clear all.

Vivo (FuntouchOS, OriginOS)

1. Enable Auto-launch

  1. Settings → Apps → App management → NotiLog.
  2. Turn on Auto-launch and Background launch.
  3. On OriginOS, the same toggles live in iManager → App manager → Auto-start manager.

2. Battery and background power

  1. Settings → Battery → Background power consumption management.
  2. Allow NotiLog to run in the background.

3. Lock it in recents

In recent apps, pull the NotiLog card down (or tap the lock icon) to keep it from being cleared.

Then verify

  1. Open NotiLog → Settings → Battery Optimization (or Help → Verify Capture).
  2. Type a message and tap Send test notification.
  3. It should appear on Home within seconds.

Nothing yet? Re-check that Notification Access is still granted, and that no "deep sleep" or "power saving" mode is active. See the access guide.

Why these phones are stricter

Chinese OEM firmware treats long-running background services as a battery problem and kills them aggressively — often without any notification to the user. Auto-start permission is the key switch: without it, the app cannot restart after being killed, so capture stops silently.

Questions

Why does Oppo or Vivo stop it saving?

Both systems kill background apps unless they are allowed to auto-start and are exempt from battery restrictions.

Where is Auto-start on Oppo / OnePlus?

Settings → Apps → App management → NotiLog → Auto-start. Some builds put it under Battery → App battery management.

Where is Auto-launch on Vivo?

Settings → Apps → App management → NotiLog — enable Auto-launch and Background launch. OriginOS: iManager → Auto-start manager.

Should I lock it in recents?

Yes — otherwise Clear all closes it and capture stops.

How do I verify?

Settings → Battery Optimization → Send test notification, then check Home.
